Movie Art

The art of making movies is progressing rapidly with all the special effects, computer graphics, etc. For making movies, I personally see the director as the artist, the actors as his models, the world around them, the computer graphics, cameras, and everything else that they use, as the directors tools. The director has a vision and he wants to "paint" that vision on the movie screen, using everything that he has available to him. A lot of times he has to "re-paint" a part of his picture (movie) until the scene ends up being just right. When the director is finished with his art work, most of the time it ends up in the movie version of a gallery, the movie theaters, all over the place. Some movies get shown all around the world while others only get shown in certain countries or certain theaters. But either way, the art work that the director, his models, and his "tools" have created, ends up somewhere that they can be appreciated as a piece of art.

Cake Art

Though many may see cake as just food, there are also those who see it as an art form. I believe that cake can be an art, because it has a lot of the common necessities that most things need in order to be viewed as "art". For many, art takes time, skill, and practice, and in most cases needs to represent something, or someone. Art also usually needs a form in order for most to call it art. Well cake also needs to take time, skill, and practice. It usually represents a celebrated occasion, and the person making the cake can "sculpt" the cake into many unique shapes if they have the right tools. They can also decorate the cake with icing, whether it's just writing something on the cake (calligraphy is also considered an art form to most), or whether it's them drawing pictures on the cake with the icing. So this is why I think that cake can be considered an art form.

Paint Splatter

Is splattering paint art? Some consider it to be art, and others don't. I am one of the people who say that it is considered to be an art form, and I have my reasons for why I consider it to be art. But first I'll discuss why I believe others don't think of it as Art.
I think that the reason why a lot of people don't consider this to be an art form is because it doesn't necessarily create a picture that people can look at and see the features of a person and/or object. A lot of people think that art needs to show these features in order to be considered art.
However, I still consider this an art form. Art isn't just something that utilizes practice and skills to create the artworks we see, it also utilizes emotion. I believe that this art form is one of those forms that utilizes emotion. In my opinion, the emotion comes from how the artist splatters the paint onto the canvas, rather than being shown plainly on the canvas. In other words, the artist can be calm and be lightly flicking paint at the canvas, or can be angry and thrashing his paint-covered brush all around and letting the paint fall where it may. This is why I consider paint splatter an art form.
